As Maria's Family Restaurant and The Galleria Banquet Room's Web-Site continues to expand, we thought it might be nice to have a page dedicated to "News & Events" about Maria's Family Restaurant and The Galleria Banquet Room. Coming Soon! As you may of noticed, Maria's Family Restaurant was recently painted with an all new color scheme. What you may not be aware of (Maybe you noticed it was missing), a new awning will be arriving shortly accompanied by new outside lighting. The corner of Essex Street and Locust Street is going to have a whole new look!

Comedy-Nite: On September 18th, 2008, The Galleria Banquet Room hosted "Comedy Chaos" A dinner and Comedy Show presented by local Comedian: Amy Tee. Guests performers included Mimi Gonzalas, a well know actor/comedian from New York who has appeared on "Ellen" and "The Moury Povich Show". Over 100 guests enjoyed an Italian buffet, beverages and a great show. Next show coming soon! Next time I'll remember to take some pictures! Italian Festival: Did You See Us? Once again Maria's Family Restaurant participated in Haverhill' Italian Festival on Saturday September 28th, 2008. Maria's would like to extend their appreciation to all their loyal customers and and guests of the event who stopped by their space in front of the Music Center and said Hi! and enjoyed the chicken parmesan and kabobs. What a great event! See you next year!

New Year's Eve 2008: Have you made plans? The Galleria Banquet Room and Maria's Family Restaurant is planning a "Middle-Eastern" themed New Year's Eve Celebration and you're invited! This is a unique chance to experience middle eastern culture celebrating the in-coming new year with music, dance, good food, and friendly cheer. For more information, "click here".

New Addition to our Staff: We would like to extend a warm welcome to "Yuri and Anna" from Karikistan. Yuri and Anna are studying in Boston and currently live in Southern New Hampshire. They have recently joined our staff working both in the restaurant and the banquet room. We all want to welcome them to our business and community and wish them well!
